Have you watched Burns in his own zone? He can bring any goalies save percentage down by 20-30 points on any given night...Wings game the other night was a prime example..Not saying that Jones is Roy or Lundquist but he has played well recently and had several key saves to win games... |

He popped by a few weeks ago. Point still stands that he needs to suck it. |

Bear is such a good breakout passer man.
He has to be a consideration for Calder, right? |

No he isn't, but maybe if you (frank)ED OFF, then he would be. |

If you're starting a team for both the present and long-term with any Dman in the league, who do you pick? |

Tanner said Toronto has 3 number one d-men. He repeated that all summer. So I'd pick one of them. Likely Muzzin but maybe Barrie. |

Makar, actually Sean's (by far) best pick.
(Carlson and Josi are nice, but with limited long-term)

I lean towards Heiskanen. Perhaps less dynamic than Makar but more steady and still productive. |

Also very good, he not just substituted Klingberg last year but basically has overtaken him already - btw. nice pick by Rafi.
Werenski on the right non-Torts team maybe, Hughes and Hronek have potential, DeAngelo/Fox will be interesting to watch, Chabot somehow is not in his last years form... in each case Pionk wheelers just an outside chance. |
